When Sunset Hides, Get Some Altitude!
Did you know that some beaches on the Pacific side of Costa Rica you can’t see the sun pass over the ocean / horizon because of the direction the beach faces or there’s a darn hill in the way??? And depending on the time of the year, at some beaches sometimes you may be able to see the sun set over the horizon and other times the sunset hides behind land...all due to Earth's tilt on its axis!

Soooooo I have a new solution...a drone! When I can’t see the sunset, I just gotta get some altitude...kinda just like this sunset image! And let’s just talk about how dreamy that pink rain is from the sunset sky, casting a pastel glow over the ocean?!?! 😍🌅🌧

P.S. Did you know there is a website called SunCalc where you can check exactly where the sun is going to set given your exact location? Of course the sun is going to set in the West...but as the Earth tilts on its axis throughout the year, the exact location it sets over land or a body of water will change throughout the year (unless you're exactly on the equator!). Cool, huh?!
