What's the weather like in Costa Rica?

February 19, 2021 2 min read

#FelizFriday!

What’s the weather like in Costa Rica you ask?

Well, that all depends on where in Costa Rica you are. In fact, Did you know that even though Costa Rica is the size of West Virginia or Denmark, it has 20 microclimates?

Microclimates???

In other words, the landscape in Costa Rica is quite diverse and changes fast, which causes differences in weather. For example, drive less than 100 miles from Tamarindo to Rio Celeste, you go from the beach to a foot of a dormant volcano.

And drive less than 200 miles from Tamarindo to Manuel Antonio (like I did last #FelizFriday) and you go from tropical dry forest beach to having breakfast in a jungle beach with Scarlett Macaws, Sloths, and lush vegetation aplenty! That’s right -- I enjoyed breakfast last Saturday with a family of squirrel monkeys, macaws, and a sloth....15 feet from my table!

So to answer your question about the weather in Costa Rica -- it all depends on where in Costa Rica you are!

Right now, the weather in Tamarindo is sunny and 81 degrees...and the weather will 99% be the exact same (sunny and hot with potential for strong winds) every single day until the end of April when the dry season starts to end and rainy season starts.

P u r a   V i d a,

P.S.Can you feel the warmth of the sun kissing your cheeks?
Can you smell the salty sea air?
Can you hear the palm trees dancing in the ocean breeze?

Now just close your eyes and welcome back to your tropical paradise...🏝
