Did you know that Costa Rica has two seasons, Rainy and Dry Season? Dry season on the Pacific side of Costa Rica is from the end of November to the end of April. It is characterized with absolutely no rain, which is great for planning a sunny vacation as you pretty much will be guaranteed sunny weather every day. However, no rain for months means a very dry landscape (Tamarindo and the region of Guanacaste is located in what is called a Tropical Dry Forest). In addition, March and April are the hottest months in Costa Rica, with temperatures in the high 90s to over 100 degrees.
Last year I escaped the heat of dry season for almost two weeks, and this year I'm so stoked to be spending the whole month of April back in the US. Helloooooo Springtime weather. As of next week I'll be back in the good ole South so stay tuned for some Low Country sunsets - - heck yea!!
Now it's time to sit back, relax, and fall back into your day dream with some sunset magic... .
